PROBLEM
Welfare is currently perceived as something vertical that comes from a top-down approach, either from the state or from the municipal administration. This result in a broken feedback loop between policies and citizens’ needs.

The CommunicationDesignXWelfare aims to develop outputs which inspire and create awarness in Welfare’s policies of Milan. The goal is to spread awarness about specific aspects of Welfare —in this case solidarity. The booklet, video and graphic manifesto were developed to inspire Milan citizens to be part of a bottom-up Welfare made of daily
solidarity gestures.
